Beaver Boardwalk
A Place to Learn from the Beavers
We are building the first place in the Pacific Northwest where people of all ages and abilities can experience beaver-created habitat.

The biggest beaver wetland in SW Oregon just one minute off Redwood Highway
Many people reach out to us looking for a beaver wetland they can visit. Families and grad students, professional biologists and retired folks, elected decision makers and members of the media. Wouldn’t it be fun to create such a place? A place that people meander out into the beavers’ world on a simple boardwalk. A place to become immersed in the beauty of a beaver wetland, without being submersed!
In 2023, Project Beaver acquired the 120 Airport Drive, Cave Junction Oregon. Located less than a mile off the popular Redwood Highway, which connects Interstate 5 with the Southern Oregon Coast and the Redwood stands of Northern California. We are currently exploring the potential for building a beaver boardwalk here.
Beaver wetlands are magical
…and difficult for humans to access.
